Located just outside Atlanta, Georgia, FuryHaus is dedicated exclusively to the German Shepherd Dog.
For more than a decade, I've dedicated myself to studying every aspect of this incredible breed - from genetics and structure to temperament, drives, health, and trainability. That knowledge has become the foundation of FuryHaus and every decision I make as both a breeder and professional trainer.

I believe a German Shepherd should be more than just beautiful - it should be healthy, confident, loyal, structurally sound, and mentally clear headed and stable. Every breeding is carefully planned with the goal of producing dogs that embody the versatility, intelligence, and courage that have made the German Shepherd one of the world's most respected working breeds.

One quality I value above all else is balance. A German Shepherd should have the drive and enthusiasm to excel in protection, work, or service BUT it should also possess a natural off switch. The ability to settle calmly in the home, think clearly under pressure, and confidently transition between work and family life is just as important as drive. In my opinion, that balance is what separates a truly exceptional German Shepherd from the rest. And we strive to live up to that exception.

Meet The Breeder
Hi! I’m Mary, founder and owner of FuryHaus German Shepherds and FullFocusK9!
For over a decade I've dedicated my life to dogs, and animals since I was 3 years old. I currently live in Northeast Georgia on a 6.5-acre property with my 6 horses, mini donkey, two pigs, two goats, six GSDs, and six cats. It’s a small hobby farm full of life and plenty to do, which is the perfect place to raise the kind of well-rounded dogs I’m proud to produce.
I am originally from in Romania and adopted into a welcoming family who helped me flourish into the animal lover I've always been. I've been drawn to animals and their incredible ability to connect with people every since I can remember and some people have told me, "you have a gift". That passion eventually became my career, and today I'm fortunate enough to spend every day working with the breed I love.
I began riding horses at just 3 years old and owned my first horse by 12. Early on, I learned how much responsibility goes into raising animals and I loved every bit of it. My experiences managing horse farms, working with livestock, and training animals from a young age laid the foundation for what would become my passion: raising exceptional German Shepherds with sound minds and temperaments.
FuryHaus began with one dog that changed everything..
While in college, I adopted my first German Shepherd, Caesar. He was meant to be a pet but he quickly became so much more - my service dog, my sport dog, my heart dog, my best friend, and the dog that completely changed the direction of my life.

Caesar showed me what a truly well-bred German Shepherd was capable. His intelligence, loyalty, confidence, and versatility inspired a lifelong passion for preserving who we is - the remarkable GSD.

From Police Officer to GSD Enthusiast
​
After graduating from Kennesaw State with a criminal justice major, I spent two years as a police officer. My goal was to be K9, but unfortunately my department didn't have K9's. I valued being a police officer deeply, my calling was clearly with dogs and more specifically, the GSD. So I left to pursue my career with dogs.
Whether our dogs go on to be sport prospects, service dogs, family guardians, or beloved pets, my goal is always the same: to provide them with the best possible foundation from the moment they’re born.
